The Tour De Gwent takes place on Sunday 15th April. I have just spent a surprisingly sunny afternoon helping put up some of the advance notice signs. I will also be there on the day helping out as a mechanic.
It was great to be able to visit Newport Velodrome to watch the TeamGB track cyclists train from the Rio Olympics. The Women’s Team Pursuit squad were going very fast.
I had an enjoyable day out on a little hill near Grosmont watching the Grand Prix of Wales as part of the Abergavenny Festival of Cycling. These photos are from early in the race on the first Grosmont circuit.
